Clarificators are equipments which operate with the principal of centrifugal seperation, just like in Cream Seperators. They are used for the purpose of removing leukocytes and ephitelial cells from the milk and providing a cleaner raw milk prior to processing. The milk being fed into the seperator bowl; the leukocytes and other bacterial cells move up as their density is higher than milk and discharged manually or automatically.
